Board of Education MeetingsThe Board of Education Meetings are held the third Monday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held in the Board Office, 315 South Main Street, New Madison, Ohio. (Meetings are subject to change and are posted in the local newspaper.)Executive SessionsThe board, under Ohio law, may hold executive sessions during its meetings to discuss personnel matters; purchase of property for public purposes; pending or imminent court action; negotiations with employees; matters to be kept confidential by federal or state statutes; and specialized details of security arrangements. Executive sessions are for discussion only. All board action will be taken in public session.Public Participation at Board MeetingsAll meetings of the Tri-Village Local Board of Education, as well as Board-appointed committee meetings, will be open to the public.Any citizen who wishes to have a matter placed on the Board of Education meeting agenda may submit a request in writing to the Superintendent of Schools, President of the Board or Treasurer prior to the opening of the meeting or verbally during the public participation time listed in the meeting agenda. All requests shall state the identity of the individual and the nature of the matter to be presented.
