Bus Transportation to School
The School provides transportation for all students who live farther than 1 mile from school. The transportation schedule and routes are available by contacting the transportation coordinator at (937) 996-1511 ext 1227. We care about our student’s here at TV and want to make sure that they are aware of where they need to go after school. This also allows the teacher and your child to know what exit they should take at the end of the day.
Please remember that any transportation changes for your child should be made before school. If you are unsure of the bus that your child will need to ride, parents MUSTcontact the bus barn at (937) 996-1511 ext 1227 to ask which bus to ride. A note MUST be sent in with your child with the following information:Name of Student – Date – Instructions – Parent Signature. This note must get approved by the office, and the student will give it to the appropriate bus driver. A note is required,NOTa phone call. Students will NOTbe allowed to call home to find out what the arrangements are for the day.
Phone Calls: In case of emergencies, we will take messages for students. Phone calls can’t be transferred to classrooms during the hours of 8:00 am – 2:45 pm. Students may only ride assigned buses and must board and depart from the bus at assigned bus stops. Students will not be permitted to ride unassigned buses for any reason other than an emergency, except as approved by the Principal. The Principal may approve a change in a student’s regular assigned bus stop to address a special need, upon the principal’s approval of a note from a parent stating the reason for the request and the duration of the requested change.
