County Reopening Guidelines
Superintendent Sagester hopes to release a district specific plan to parents, students, and community members by the end of the month.  We will continue to keep you informed as we navigate this unchartered water together.  Thank you for your patience.

DARKE COUNTY SCHOOLS’ COMMON RE-OPENING AGREEMENTS

PREFACE:  All Ohio schools closed for the remainder of the school calendar beginning on March 17, 2020, by order of the Governor and the Director of the Ohio Department of Health in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.   On July 2, 2020 guidelines were released.  School district superintendents from each public school district in Darke County, along with the Darke County Educational Service Center, and Darke County Health Department met on July 6, 2020 to identify common practices for school re-opening in Darke County.

These general principles will guide each school district as they move forward with reopening schools throughout Darke County:

1.         Each school district will implement recommended safety protocols to the highest degree possible;

2.         Each school district will work closely with the Darke County Health Department (DCHD) to promote safety in each school building;

3.         Each school district will be transparent with all stakeholders that some level of risk will always be present when children and school district employees occupy school district facilities.

4.         School districts recognize the need for consistency in areas of operations while recognizing that individual differences in classroom sizes, school facilities, and building operations may lead to some inconsistencies.

5.         School districts are planning to maintain their previously approved school calendars with some possible front-loading of employee professional development or waiver days.

Capital Improvement Project Set to Begin
Dear Patriots,

The Tri-Village Local School District Board of Education’s vision is to create a first class environment for our students and families while responding to our district’s needs. As a result of much discussion and planning, our Board of Education will begin construction on a new Transportation Garage on the east side of campus. The Transportation Garage will be situated on the land that was recently purchased for expansion projects such as this.

New & Returning Student Registration

New & Returning Student Registration       We are very excited to announce that the Tri-Village Local Schools has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service that will be replacing paper forms. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign enrollment, back-to-school and athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

      You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.

       We are asking that ALL parents of students use FinalForms.  You can use your home computer or a smart phone to sign your students up.  If you do not have a home computer or smart phone, we are working with the New Madison Public Library and we will have an evening where you can come to the school to register your kids into FinalForms.  Those dates are to be determined.

       IMPORTANT: You will receive an account confirmation email from FinalForms. If you don’t please contact the school for a link and follow the steps to login and access your student(s) accordingly.

      Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork processes at Tri-Village Local Schools.

      If you do not receive an email from FinalForms by June 15, 2020, please call Mrs. Francis at 937-996-6261, extension 1218 and give her your email address.  You could also email [email protected], please be sure to include your students names.  Once you have received your email, please click on the Parent Playbook (located on the back) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, please do not hesitate to call the school.

We Miss You
