My name is Mallory Weaver and I am the new Elementary Art Teacher here At TV. I am so excited to be able to introduce ART to Tri-Village students.We are going to have such a great time making messes and creating beautiful artwork. I can not wait to get to know everyone and am looking forward to sharing my passion with you all!
I will start by telling you a little bit about myself. This is my 1st year at Tri-Village and 1st year teaching! I graduated from Liberty Center High School in 2019. This past May, I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education. I just recently moved away from home which is 2 hours north of Tri-Village. My twin brother and I moved into an apartment in Troy and we love it! We both are transiting into a new role of being a 1st-year teacher and are so excited for the 2023-2024 school year.
Each student 2nd-6th will be putting together an online art portfolio. They will have access to these on their Google Classroom so that parents can see all the cool projects we are doing. At the end of the year, I am hoping to have an art show where each student will be able to show 2-3 projects from throughout the year. So, I will be keeping 2nd-6th projects till the end of the year.
