Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
Let me take this time to welcome you to third grade! I expect you are ready to enjoy a fun-filled year of activities. I will be teaching Language Arts and Reading this year to all of the third graders. All of my students will be expected to complete assignments on time while doing their very best work in all subject areas.
Since you may not know too much about me, let me take the time to introduce myself to you. My name is Kim Canan and I have been teaching at Tri-Village since August 2000. I graduated from Bradford High School. I went on to college and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio. I have also received my Master's degree in Education from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. I am married to Casey Canan, also from Bradford. He works at Collins Aerospace in Troy, Ohio. We have three daughters, Emma, Rylee, and Lilly and one son, Owen. We live in Bradford.
My expectations are high for my third graders. I want all of my students to achieve success and it will happen with the cooperation from all of the students, parents, teachers, and administration.
