Brooke Clevenger

My name is Brooke Clevenger. I teach sixth grade Language Arts. I attended Brookville High School and graduated from Wright State University. Following my undergraduate, I attended the University of Dayton to earn my license and masters in Middle Childhood Education. Currently my family and I reside in Lewisburg. I have two wonderful children, Colton and Reece. This will be my sixteenth year in education, and my third year as a Patriot.

Sixth grade is an exciting year!  In my classroom, students will be expected to work independently, cooperatively with peers, and think critically. In order to have a successful year, two-way communication is vital to your child's success. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

The following are major topics that will be taught in sixth grade Language Arts/Reading:
-Literature
-Informational Texts
-Writing with an emphasis on narrative, informative, explanatory & argumentative pieces
-Vocabulary & conventions

I am looking forward to a great year!
