Meet the Teacher

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!! This is my 17th year in education and my 9th year at Tri-Village Local Schools! I am a 2000 graduate of Ansonia Local Schools, 2004 graduate of Wright State University, and a 2009 graduate of Bowling Green University. My passion is empowering students to become lifelong learners and problem-solvers! I love a good challenge and finding a creative solution when needed. Before my students leave my classroom, I am hoping they have learned how to face challenges with perseverance and a determination to get back up and try again!

2024-2025 Theme: Sea Turtles

We will be exploring...

1. Different types of sea turtles

2. Topsail Beach in North Carolina

3. Hands-on beach experiments

CURRICULUM:

The TAG students are completing pretests on their knowledge of sea turtles and the ocean. Students will begin Independent Projects by choosing a sea creature to share with the class. We will also be accessing YouTube videos, articles, and other resources to understand the life of different sea turtles. Which ones are endangered? Where do they make their homes? What can we do to help the sea turtles from becoming extinct?
