About Me!
I am a graduate of Wright State University.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a Spanish major and a French minor.  I was a member of the French and the Spanish honor societies while at Wright State and graduated with honors (Suma Cum Laude).  I spent a summer quarter at the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain and made trips to France, Mexico, and Venezuela while in college and over several years after graduation.

I began my teaching career at Eaton High School where I taught Spanish and French for 6 years.  My husband, Tom, and I began our family, so I took a leave of absence from teaching for 17 years!  I returned to full time teaching at Arcanum High School.  After teaching there for one year I came to Tri-Village.  I continued to teach French and I also began the Spanish program here at TVHS. This year I am teaching Spanish 1, 2 and 3 as well as French 1 and 2.  This year for part of the 1st semester, I have Sophie Mather, who is a student teacher from Miami University.  She will be teaching along with me both languages.
.

Tom is a farmer and lay minister and my sons, Bret and Craig, help him farm during the busy times of the year.  Bret is also an electrician with Three Way Electric in Greenville and is married to Jayme who is employed at Western Ohio Dental in Greenville.  She has 2 daughters, Reece and Kylar and they also have 2 sons, Lincoln and Pierce. Karli, my oldest daughter, resides near Atlanta, Georgia.  She is an athletic trainer at Emory University and also is a trainer for the Atlanta Dream in the summer months..  Craig, my younger son, graduated from Lincoln College of Technology in 2011 and is employed at Dave Knapp Ford in Greenville in the Collision Repair Center.  Craig's wife Mallorie is a stay-at-home mom with my newest grandson, Cade.  Taylor, my youngest, is the Ohio State University/Darke County extension educator and lives near us in Indiana.
Tom and I are both graduates of Tri-Village, along with all our children, so our family calls this area "home."  We feel very privileged to live here.
