1st Quarter and beginning of 2nd Quarter



Content/Concept

    

      Review of Chapters 1-3 vocabulary from level one and stories and of all forms of the present

      and investigate the past during the review.

      Continuation of day, date, time, weather and added day’s events along with question cards

        using old and new vocabulary.  

      Introduction of the past 3rd person singular with exposure to the tú and yo forms/je and tu          in conversation and reading.         

      Read short stories from Flangoo Digital Readers

      Traditional Dances of Hispanic countries

    

Ch. 4 vocabulary using skills from level one to question and respond and tell stories in the past and present.

4th Quarter


Content/Concept

Continued work with the present and past forms of the 3rd persons singular and plural.  Focus on the 1st person singular of the past tenses as stories are told and written with further exposure to the nosotros forms of the past.

Students will reinforce the present, preterite, and imperfect in all persons as they build vocabulary and expressions in the target language.  Focus will be on the nosotros/nous,vous.
