Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, per Ohio Revised Code (3313.60) and Senate Bill 288 - Erin's Law, each school district in Ohio is required to provide developmentally appropriate instruction in child sexual abuse prevention for grades K-6 and developmentally appropriate instruction in sexual violence prevention education for grades 7-12, which must include instruction in recognizing dating violence warning signs and characteristics of healthy relationships.
