Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Prom tickets are on sale in the high school office from April 8th through 13th.  No late tickets will be sold.  Check your Google Classroom for more information.   
Attention 9th through 11th Grade Students:  If you have your completed Big Brothers/Big Sisters Enrollment Papers completed, please drop them off in the office or see Mrs. Dyson, Ms. Black or Kelly Harrison for more information.  These are due back by April 16th.

The Jr. High and High School Archery Team competed in the State Archery Tournament on March 26.  The Tri-Village High School Archery Team finished in 5th place at State with a total score of 3,272.  The Jr. High Archery Team finished 9th at State with a total score of 3,066.  Both Teams will compete at the National Archery Tournament on April 24th with hopes of qualifying for the Championship Tournament in June.

Attention Staff and Students:
This is just a reminder that Tuesday will be a dress up day and the theme is Timber Tuesday.  Don't forget to wear your outdoor wear to participate.

Student Council is sponsoring a blood drive on April 21st.  You must be 16 years old by the date of the drive in order to give blood.  If you would like to donate, see Mrs. Stump for paperwork and an appointment.  You must have paperwork filled out before you can donate blood.  If you donate three times during high school, you will receive a red chord to wear at graduation!  See Mrs. Stump for more details.  
Attention HS students, a representative from Edison will be on campus May 11th from 8:30-1:15 to schedule students for the 2021-2022 school year.  Students must sign up in the front office for a specific time to meet with her and complete their scheduling.  See Ms. Black for more information.

Attention Junior High and High School Students -
The Darke County We Are The Majority Team is hosting a Virtual Drug-Free Awareness Walk on April 5th.  In order to participate, take a picture or video of you taking your stance by walking or showing us your poster, and post to the Darke County We Are The Majority Facebook page.  FREE T-Shirts for the walk will be available on April 2nd at the Greenville Park Shelter House #4 from 10:45am to 12:00pm. If you have questions, please contact Amanda Dyson or Kelly Harrison in the library or see any Majority Leader for more details.

Attention juniors: there is a free immunization clinic being offered this Saturday in Greenville.  You are all required to receive the meningococcal vaccine before the first day of your Senior year, so why not get it for free?!  They are also giving out coupons for a free McDonalds ice cream or french fries to students who get their vaccine at this clinic!  If you intend to have someone other than your parent take you, you will need a note of permission from your parent.  See Jodi Fritz with any questions.

Any young Man who is or will be 18 years of age within 30 days or in the near future it is your responsibility to sign up through the Selective Service System on their website at: sss.gov.  This will determine if you are eligible for federal loans and government programs in the future.  It is your duty as a male citizen of the United States.  See Mr. Beard, our Selective Service registrar at Tri-Village, with any questions.

Attention seniors! You can win between $500 and $3,000 through Darke County Foundation scholarships! At least 75 Darke County seniors will win! Students going to 4-year colleges, 2-year colleges, or shorter vocational programs are eligible to apply. Apply online at darkecountyfoundation.org. Deadline is March 31. 
Attention students and staff, there will be no Trolley today and tomorrow.  Trolley will be back up and running on Wednesday.

The Tri-Village Key Club will be selling Candy Grams; Mon, February 8th through Fri, February 12th in the commons area during high school lunch, during first period in Mrs. Binghams Room, H306 and first period in Mrs. Chronisters room H210(see Jamie Hemmelgarn).  The cost will be $.50/gram and will be delivered on Tuesday, February 16th during homeroom.

The High School Softball team will have open gym this Thursday 4:30-6.

Tri-Village Key Club will be selling Candy Grams Mon, February 8th through Fri, February 12th during high school lunch in the commons area and also in Mrs. Binghams room H306.  The cost will be $.50/gram and they will be delivered to the recipients on Mon, February 15th during homeroom.

The High School Archery Team traveled to JacCenDel High School on Saturday, Jan 23rd to compete in the JCD Shootout Archery Tournament where they competed against 9 other HS Teams.  The Tri-Village High School Archery Team finished in 2nd place with a total score of 3,224.  Individual top 10 finishers were:
Boys:   Foster Brown, 4th place with a 280 and 15 Tens; Austin Kosier 8th place with a 276 and 11 Tens.
Girls:  Johnna Siegrist, 7th place with a 275 and 14 Tens; Elizebeth Moss, 8th place with a 275 and 10 Tens.

High School baseball open gym will be Tuesday, January 26 after school for seniors and juniors, and Thursday, January 28th after school for sophomores and freshmen. 

The Junior Class advisers would like to congratulate and thank Kylei Beisner, Macy Thompson, Camryn Wyne, Jamie Hemmelgarn and Angelina Gillespie for earning their free Prom tickets.  Remember that every Junior is expected to work at least one concession shift.

Attention all students grades 7-12, there is a new chess club created by Mr. Ford that will be meeting in H206 every Wednesday from 3-4.  All are welcome to join regardless of skill level or experience.  Come learn a classic game or challenge one of the best. See Mr. Ford for more details.

The Junior class is in need of concession workers for tonight's home game versus Arcanum.  If you are able to work, please sign up outside of Ms. Gutierrez's room. 

Yearbooks are still on sale for the 2020/2021 school year.

There will be a very important meeting for any high school student interested in playing baseball this spring, on Tuesday morning, after announcements, in front of Mr. Maples room. 

The Junior Class advisors would like to thank all of those who have been working hard to raise money during concession season.  The following Juniors have already earned their FREE Prom ticket: Reece Arnett, Delanee Gray, Samantha Combs, Chase Scantland, and Layne Sarver.  There are still multiple opportunities to help.  Please sign up outside of Ms. Gutierrez's room.

Mr. Burke and the football team will be having a meeting in the auditorium after TV News this morning. 

The Tri-Village Archery Team competed in the December St. Jude Virtual Archery Tournament.  The notable results are as follows: TRI-VILLAGE HIGH School Team  took 1st place out of 7 total teams with a Score of 3198  (participating schools were from Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Florida) Foster Brown took 1st place for High School Boys and 1st place overall with a Score of 286 out of a possible 300 points.  Jacob Siegrist placed 6th for High School boys with a Score of 273 Stephen Derksen placed 7th for High School boys with a Score of 273

Attention Juniors, this is our first weekend of concessions.  We are excited to start this fundraiser, but are also looking for additional help. We are mostly in need of help for the Varsity shifts both this Friday and Saturday.  

As a reminder, the following are working on Friday: Kate Gross, Reece Arnett, Maddie Bennett, Molly Scantland, Delanee Gray, Samantha Combs, and Kylei Beisner .  Working on Saturday are Kate Gross, Reece Arnett, Molly Scantland, and Tristen Dowler.

Attention Staff and Students.  The junior high and high school student councils are teaming up to sponsor a canned food drive during the next two weeks.  Adopt-a-Family each year collected canned food and then distributed the food to the families that are adopted as well as local food banks.  This year is no different.  All food collected will be used for needy families in our school district and given to local food banks so start bringing in your canned goods.  The high school homeroom and the junior high homeroom bringing in the most canned goods will win a donut/milk party after Christmas Break.  Please note there must be a 3 can per person average or higher or 50 cans donated in order for your class to win.

 From the desk the the TV NHS Chapter Advisor:  Those who recieved an email concerning the NHS application, please fill it out the form for submission before 3pm on December 16th, 2020.  This application is also available on your 10th, 11th, or 12th grade Google Classrooms.  If you have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and are at least a sophomore, then it is your privilege to apply.  Thank you for your consideration in this process.  If you have questions about this process, then please see the NHS advisor Mr. Beard in room H303 or inquire with him through his email, which is available on the school’s website.

The TV Powerlifitng practice will on resume Nov. 30th at 3pm. First group will lift at 3pm and the second group will lift at 3:45 pm. Practice will be Monday-Tuesday and Friday next week.

LAST CHANCE TO DONATE FOR SOCKTOBER! The FFA with your support has collected nearly 500 pairs of socks, 50 winter hats and 20 pairs of gloves! This is our last week to reach our goal of 1,000 pair of socks! You can drop packages of socks off in the Blue Bins located in the high school lobby!

We Are The Majority and TV Adopt-A-Family present Red Ribbon Week October 26th through the 30th!  Students are asked to pay 50 cents each day to dress up.  Proceeds will go to the Adopt-A-Family program!  Dress-Up Days are as follows: 
Monday - "Follow Your Dreams, Don't Do Drugs!" Wear your pajamas 
Tuesday - "Put a Cap on Drugs!" Wear your favorite hat 
Wednesday - The Future is Bright, Drug Free!" Wear your Neon Colored Clothes and Sunglasses 
Thursday - "Team Up Against Drugs!"  Wear your favorite team jersey or team colors 
Friday - "Rope in good choices, Ride away from drugs!" Wear your Rodeo Gear!

IT'S SOCKTOBER!!! Did you know that one of the biggest unmet needs for struggling families is a pair of shoes and socks!? Some kids may be wearing shoes that are 4 sizes too small for them and may not even have a pair of socks! The FFA is doing something about it! Bring in NEW socks and winter hats during the month of October! You can drop the hats and socks both in the BLUE BINS located near the entry doors and in the high school lobby! The FFA has teamed with Shoes 4 The Shoeless and a few local churches to make this SOCKTOBER DRIVE a big success! Please help out too!
