My name is Mr. Justin G. Slone. This is my 1st year here at Tri-Village and my 2nd year in Agriculture Education. Although I am new to the profession, I come from a large agricultural background. My family, traditionally, has always raised cattle, sheep and hogs on a relatively small scale. I grew up extremely active in 4-H and The FFA showing cattle all over the United States and club lambs on the state and local circuits. In 2013, I graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Degree at Bowling Green State University in Workforce Education & Development.
Between 2013 and 2015 I lived in Oklahoma and Texas where I managed seedstock cattle operations, the largest (Texas) was a program spanning over 10,000 acres in 4 states and 3,000 head of Commercial & Limousin influenced cattle. I moved back home to Ohio in 2015 to pursue a teaching career and be closer to family.
I believe that you will find that I have extremely high expectations and goals for my students and myself, however, if we all perform to the best of our abilities, we have the opportunity to achieve great things and change the world one day at a time! I am truly proud to be a Patriot!
