Independencia de México and Hispanic Heritage Month
All present forms and all preterite/passé composé and imperfect forms (used in review) of the verbs listed and other vocabulary and phrases as listed below.
Spanish students will do online review of present and past tenses using Studyspanish.com as well as reviewing the level 2 stories and vocabulary.
Future tense introduction and use in questions about the story, then personal questions

Goals: Students will tell and write stories in all persons of the present tense and past tenses. Also they will converse in the present and past and begin using future in conversation.
Assessments: Students will have writing quizzes over the story and a matching quiz over the house vocabulary and interpretive reading quizzes. They will choose from a basket the point of view they are writing the story in with the option of using the future as extra credit. Also the evaluations from the online review are used as quiz grades.
