"Bring Your Green Challenge" and IGS Energy

Dayton Regional Green recognized dozens of local businesses from Montgomery County and surrounding Counties that have taken voluntary steps to protect, preserve, and improve the environment.
Several of these businesses have certified multiple locations leading to a total of 170 facilities receiving DRG3 Green Business Certification since April 20, 2015, bringing the number of certified businesses to date to 545.

The Montgomery County Commissioners, Dayton Regional Green, DP&L, Vectren, and IGS Energy kicked off the event with remarks addressing the impact from the Bring Your Green Challenge. In addition, the Community Green Idea contest winner - Amy Brandl- was recognized and will receive the $500 cash prize. Details were also released on green ideas being adopted by the Dayton Regional Action Teams, as well as a new partnership with IGS Energy to offer great energy rates and a 100% renewable energy offer to Dayton Regional Green businesses and network.
